CARDV Named Non-Profit Community Organization of the Year
At the 2008 60th Annual Celebrate Corvallis event, CARDV was named by the Corvallis-Benton Chamber Coalition, along with the Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis, the Non-Profit Community Organization of the Year.
This is the inaugural year for this category, and it was an honor to be chosen as the 2008 recipient of the award, and to share the award with the Boys and Girls Club.
This new award was created to recognize a community organization that has made a significant contribution to the overall health and livability of Benton County. Community organizations play a central role to help retain and recruit businesses in Benton County, and improve quality of life.
